New Boston pro women’s soccer team kicks off inaugural season

Boston’s new professional women’s soccer team plays their first game this weekend.

Boston Legacy FC will kick off at Gillette Stadium on Saturday. The team’s intended home turf, White Stadium, is still under construction amid a controversial deal to have the team play in a public park.
