NORMAN, Okla. – Ole Miss women’s tennis dropped its match against No. 10 Oklahoma, 4-0, at the Headington Family Tennis Center on Friday evening.

The Sooners (13-4, 4-2 SEC) started off strong, earning the doubles point against the Rebels (6-6, 1-5 SEC). The 85th-ranked duo of Andrea Nova and Emily Welker were all tied up at 4-4 with the No. 1 doubles pair in the nation before the match went unfinished.

Singles was a similar story, as Oklahoma took three singles wins on courts two, three and five in straight sets to clinch the win. Two of those Sooners who secured a singles win are ranked individually in the top-65. The other three courts were not completed.
