It’s hard to believe we’re into the last half of March already, but while we wait for the days to grow longer and the air to get warmer, there’s plenty of fun to be had around Edmonton.

What: Missed Hawreklak Park? We sure did. After a multi-year rehabilitation project, the beloved river valley park has finally reopened to the public. Besides, there’s nothing better than a stroll through the park on a bright spring day.

What: Keep those cravings local and indulge at your favourite downtown restaurant during Downtown Dining Week. From March 11 to 22, tempt your taste buds with some amazing grub with an array of multi-course menus available from some of Edmonton’s best eateries. This celebration of Edmonton’s diverse culinary scene gives diners an opportunity to enjoy special fixed-price menus from participating restaurants.

What: Right in the heart of downtown, the Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) has been Edmonton’s go-to for art and culture for 100 years. With rotating exhibitions, workshops, and events, it’s the perfect spot to get inspired, learn something new, or just soak up some creativity.
