One man has been arrested and police are searching for two additional suspects following a robbery at a hotel in Mississauga earlier this month.

Peel Regional Police say officers responded around 3:30 a.m. on March 6 to a building near Hurontario St. and Derry Rd. after a man was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by three people.

Investigators say the suspects fled the scene shortly after and the victim sustained minor injuries.

As part of the investigation, officers searched the hotel and recovered a gun.

Abdoulkader Abdi, 33, of Toronto, has been charged with multiple offences including robbery, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm, pointing a firearm, careless storage of a firearm and failing to comply with a release order.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Police have also issued an arrest warrant for Kimberly MacIntyre, 28, of Mississauga, who is allegedly wanted for robbery.

She is described as white, 5-foot-6 in height, with a thin build. She has long brown hair and blue eyes, and has a birthmark on the left side of her nose. She was last seen wearing a black winter coat with a brown fur-trimmed hood.

Investigators are also attempting to identify a third suspect described as a man between 20 and 25 years old with a light complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, blue hooded tracksuit, grey running shoes and a black balaclava.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Regional Police or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
