Deadly shooting at Surrey home, man in custody

Surrey Police Services (SPS) officers were notified of shots fired at approximately 1:40 a.m Sunday morning (March 15) in the 13900-block of Laurel Drive, Surrey.
Police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics arrived, but the man was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say a man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has now taken over the investigation and are working alongside SPS to complete priority investigative tasks.
