Multiple sections of Highway 17 are closed in both directions due to weather and maintenance-related incidents.
Ontario 511 reported that all lanes are blocked between the junction of Sudbury Regional Road 55 and Seldom Seen Road in Massey, as well as between Seldom Seen Road in Massey and Fairbanks Lake Road/Den Lou Road in Whitefish.
The closures began Sunday evening at approximately 7:42 p.m. and 7:44 p.m., respectively, as hazardous conditions affected the region.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and monitor Ontario 511 for updates on road conditions and reopening times.
