Electronics tossed in the trash cause environmental problems and are banned from Colorado landfills.
AURORA, Colo. — The City of Aurora is hosting its next e-cycling event this week.
Aurora’s e-cycling partner Pedal Point LifeCycle Solutions (formerly Techno Rescue) will accept most electronic items at 3251 Lewiston St.
Special event pricing will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from March 16 to March 20.
Aurora said desktop computers, laptops, cellphones, tablets, gaming equipment, consumer electronics and similar items are accepted.
Each carload is $5. Cash, debit card or credit card are preferred as payment.
Additional fees will be applied to recycle these items:
Flat screen TV (LCD/LED; all sizes): $20 eachCRT monitors/CRT TVs (all sizes): $50 eachConsole, projection or DLP TVs: $100 each

The city said additional dates for regular special event pricing have been scheduled for 2026: May 18-22, July 20-24, Sept. 14-18 and Nov. 16-20.
