Family and friends are identifying the man shot on Highway 2 south of Edmonton this weekend.
Birinder Singh, 22, was driving with friends on Saturday afternoon.
Mounties say reports came in around 2:50 p.m., indicating someone noticed a white/grey dirty pickup truck pull beside a car that was later identified as a black 2012 Honda Civic, before speeding off while the Civic pulled over.

In the meantime, a GoFundMe has been set up to bring Singh’s body back to India.
