Tuesday’s episode of Bold & Beautiful’s promises to be a must-see as Dylan and Electra come face to face at Forrester Creations. And while the fashion house’s new hire isn’t looking to ruffle any feathers, you — and Electra — might find that she’s less apologetic than usual. Here, portrayer Sydney Bullock explains what’s changed.

It was one thing when Electra set down Puritanical conditions for Dylan’s stay at Will’s beach house. But it was quite another when she ordered her beau to kick out the unhoused co-ed. And now that she’s kissed R.J., all bets are off! “It’s a very complex situation,” the actress says. “Dylan really had no idea what to do when Electra wanted Will to choose between them, and I think that she was hurt by Electra and felt a little bit betrayed.
“At the same time, she was trying to be understanding and respecting of the relationship and remembering Will is Electra’s first love,” she continues. “So Dylan’s hurt by [Electra’s ‘Put her on the street’ ultimatum] but doesn’t take it super personally at first.”

The Moment That Changed Everything
Later, though, after Dylan learns from Will that Electra’s been smooching R.J., “that changes her perspective on Electra a little,” says Bullock. “Dylan was willing to back off and put her feelings aside or keep them in out of respect for Will and Electra, but now it’s like, ‘So you’re asking me to go live in my car and move out, but you’re going and kissing someone else?!?’
“It seems like Electra kind of wants to have her cake and eat it, too!”

This Is Gonna Get *Nasty*!
If only the kids would talk, they could figure out exactly where they all stand — and it’s not where they think! “The whole thing is such a misconception of what happened with Electra and R.J.,” Bullock marvels. Even what happened afterwards between Will and Dylan is “all based on miscommunications, so no one is on the same page.
“But,” she hastens to note, “Dylan only knows as much as Will has told her, so to her, it seems like Electra’s betrayed him. But she’s still asking me to sacrifice my well-being, so there’s a little bit of frustration while we’re not clear about what’s going on.”
And that frustration is only going to grow now that Dylan is punching the clock at Forrester Creations. To put it mildly, Electra and Ivy don’t roll out the welcome wagon for the newcomer. Things get so ugly, in fact, that also in Tuesday’s episode, co-CEO Steffy is called upon to law down the law, ordering Dylan’s detractors to play nice… or else!
