As much as I like the Galaxy S26, Samsung’s decision to hike the price makes it harder to recommend than previous models. Thankfully, you won’t have to pay full price. You can currently snag the Galaxy S26 for way less than its normal $900 cost — and it even comes with a full year of unlimited data.
For a limited time, Mint Mobile is offering the Galaxy S26 for $680, a price that includes a year of unlimited data. Considering the phone normally retails for $900 on its own, getting the handset and a year of service for $680 is a steal. I’ve said numerous times that you should never pay full price for a phone, and this deal is exactly why.
Another reason I love this Galaxy S26 deal is that it doesn’t force you to trade in an older device to receive the savings. While you could shave off an additional $200 with a trade-in, this deal is a steal on its own, considering Samsung’s $900 asking price. Why spend that much when you can get the phone and service for $680?
Samsung’s decision to give the Galaxy S26 a $100 price hike initially gave me pause about recommending it. It improves upon the Cross App Actions feature of the previous Galaxy S25 by extending it to third-party apps. It’s remarkable how the AI performed every necessary step to place a Dunkin’ order through DoorDash, including all my specific customizations.
If that’s not enough, the display has grown to a larger 6.3-inch AMOLED that is also brighter than the previous model. Other upgrades, like the camera’s horizon lock and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance, add to the phone’s overall value, making it one of the best phones around.
