The Toronto Argonauts signed wide receiver Michael Monois on Tuesday.
Michael Monois is five foot ten and weighs 180 pounds. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Monois spent six seasons at the University of Maine (2019-24) with 64 catches for 644 yards, averaging 13.7 yards per game, two touchdowns, three punt returns for 17 yards, one tackle (1 solo), and one blocked kick in 47 games for the Black Bears.
In 2023, he had a career-high 28 catches for 296 yards, averaging 26.9 yards per game, one touchdown, two punt returns for six yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 11 games. In his final collegiate season in 2024, he made eight catches for 49 yards in 11 games.
At his pro day, Monios ran a 4.69 in the 40-yard dash, 12 bench presses of 225 pounds, and jumped 34 inches in the vertical. He also ran a 4.25 in the short shuttle. Monois did not participate in the three-cone and broad jump.
