2025 is a year in which mid-range Android smartphones can legitimately call themselves ‘battery monsters‘ – even though most of them are still exclusive to China at the time of writing.
Some of them have made it at least as far as India, though, and include notable examples such as the 7,300mAh iQoo Z10 and 7,100mAh OnePlus Nord CE5.
Both of those devices have featured in a new TechBar video, facing off against the iQoo Neo10, Poco F7, Oppo K13 and Realme GT 7 in a test of theoretically epic battery endurance.
The YouTuber asserted that all devices started from 100% battery, were on the same Wi-Fi network and ran the same apps on the same brightness level for the entirety of the experiment.
The GT 7 was first to fall during this test, lasting for a total of 9 hours and 4 minutes. That might not be all that surprising or disappointing for its users, as it packs the video’s fastest chipset in the up-to-3.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9400e (and also the smallest battery size at 7,000mAh).
Processing power was not necessarily associated with either efficiency or performance in this test, though, as the Poco F7 and iQoo Neo10 were 1 of 3 of the smartphones unable to complete the AnTuTu stress test phase of the trial, despite having the next most powerful SoC: the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
The Dimensity 8350-powered Nord CE5 also failed that part of the test, and finished 5th overall with 9 hours and 31 minutes of screen-on time.
The Neo10 and Poco F7 were next, lasting 11 hours 40 minutes and 11 hours 50 minutes respectively; in addition, the F7 overheated the most during a 2nd benchmarking phase with the 3DMark app (“to simulate high-intensity gaming”).
In addition, the Poco phone had the largest typical capacity at 7,550mAh (although that is the Chinese version, and the one sold on Amazon is only 6,500mAh).
That left the technically less powerful, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3-based iQoo Z10 to take 2nd place with over 12 hours of screen-on time – although the relatively humble Oppo K13 with its Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform ultimately took the victory at 12 hours and 44 minutes.
The K13 is also currently the cheapest handset on this list on Amazon.in, starting at INRÂ 17,854 for a SKU with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and the Icy Purple colorway showcased in its winning performance.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
