The moment of truth has arrived on The Bold and the Beautiful. In Wednesday’s episode (recapped here), Dylan overheard that Ivy had been manipulating Will and Electra to keep them apart. What’s more, Forrester Creations’ newest employee didn’t shy away from confronting Electra’s venomous aunt — a big step for the underdog!

“Dylan is definitely intimidated by Ivy,” portrayer Sydney Bullock tells Soaps.com. “Ivy holds much more weight and power in this town than Dylan does. Ivy has money. She knows all of Dylan’s close friends. She’s successful.

“Dylan doesn’t have any of that,” she continues. “But she’s not completely scared of her.”

So once she’s in possession of this damning new information, Dylan can’t hold back any longer. And the irony is, Ivy’s been accusing Dylan of things that she didn’t do, and now Dylan is accusing Ivy of things that she actually did! Initially, “Ivy misconstrued everything [between Dylan and Will], so she wants the opportunity to defend herself and clear her name. But she knows her place and needs to find the right time to do it.”

That time, it would seem, is now. Having realized that Ivy isn’t just mean, she’s manipulative to boot, Dylan is ready to call her out on her BS. But will Dylan dare run to Will and Electra with what she knows? Doing so would open Electra’s eyes to what a treacherous schemer her aunt is, but it would probably also thrust her back into Will’s arms, thereby thwarting Dylan’s flirtation with her crush. That remains to be seen!
