A teenage girl is dead after she was struck by at least one vehicle Friday night in Vaudreuil-Dorion — a suburb located about 45 kilometres west of Montreal.
Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Frédéric Deshaies said the teenager was walking on De La Gare Boulevard when she was hit at around 8:30 p.m.
She was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Deshaies said the teen was from the area, but would not specify her age, saying only she was a minor.
While the cause and circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation, Deshaies confirmed two vehicles were involved in the collision.
