CD Projekt published its full-year financial results for 2025 recently, and as we already covered, Cyberpunk 2077 was the main revenue driver, growing 12% over the previous year. According to that data, the Switch 2 release significantly boosted the company’s sales in the goods and materials segment, which saw a fivefold year-on-year increase thanks to Game Card sales. This helped net profit rise 33.7% to 594 million PLN ($161.4 million), up from 444.2 million PLN ($120.2 million) in 2024.
A deeper dive into CD Project Red’s financials for 2025 revealed even more details on the sales of Cyberpunk 2077 along with Witcher 3, which is still chugging along and bringing in cash for the company. In particular we learned the breakdown of sales percentages between platforms for both Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3, and the results are somewhat surprising.
Here’s a breakdown of 2025 sales percentages between platforms for both titles:
Cyberpunk 2077
PC – 51%
PlayStation – 29%
Switch 2 – 10%
Xbox – 9%
Witcher 3
PC – 43%
PlayStation – 38%
Switch – 11%
Xbox 8%
It’s no surprise to see PC dominating the percentages for both games, but it’s great to see Switch topping Xbox with Witcher 3, and even more stunning to see Switch 2 put up such a strong showing right out of the gate with Cyberpunk 2077. Let’s hope CD Project Red feels happy enough about these numbers that they continue to support Nintendo fans for years to come!
