Ebony Jade Weston has today begun a new role as triple j’s Music Programming Assistant.
Weston has been working at the ABC as a casual for over 18 months.
Previously, she completed a newsroom internship with ARN and was also an on-air host at Melbourne community radio stations SYN and Triple R.
Posting to LinkedIn about her newest career chapter, Weston said “So many people in my life know that working at triple j was my dream, and even though there has been hurdles to jump over and mountains to climb to get there, it has been beyond worth it.”
“Thank you to everyone who believed I could do it before I could even believe it. I have never been so happy to prove myself wrong.”
