Bleacher Report’s Joel Reuter has unveiled fresh new MLB power rankings with the regular season a few days away, and the Boston Red Sox landed at No. 7 on Reuter’s list.

“The Red Sox have nine new faces on their projected Opening Day roster, including Ranger Suárez, Sonny Gray and Johan Oviedo in a revamped starting rotation, along with Willson Contreras and Caleb Durbin as the new corner infielders,” Reuter wrote on Monday.
“A full, healthy season from Roman Anthony would have a bigger impact than any outside addition, and he has the talent to be a legitimate AL MVP candidate in 2026.”

Boston’s regular-season campaign launches on Thursday with a three-game series at the Cincinnati Reds, featuring games on March 26, 28, and 29. Boston then heads to Houston for another three-game set against the Astros.
The Red Sox return home April 3 for their Fenway opener against the San Diego Padres in a series that runs through April 5. They stay in Boston to host the Milwaukee Brewers from April 6 to 8. The early weeks continue with road series at the St. Louis Cardinals April 10-12 and the Minnesota Twins April 13-15. A four-game home stand against the Detroit Tigers follows April 17-20, then matchups with the Yankees April 21-23 at Fenway. The first month closes with trips to the Baltimore Orioles April 24-26 and Blue Jays April 27-29.
