The NASCAR Euro Series is ready to broadcast all qualifying and races from the 2026 season to your screens. All the action from the season opener in Spain, the return of NASCAR GP in France, the ever popular American Speedfest in the UK, the regular season showdown in Czech Republic, the start of the Playoffs in Italy and the nail-biting Finals in Belgium are going to be presented to fans all over the world by an outstanding lineup of talents: lead commentator Mark Werrell, grid presenter Andre Wiegold and the GP1 production team.
Mark Werrell is back in the broadcasting booth for the first time since 2021, ready to call out all the excitement and spectacle from the V8GP and OPEN divisions once again. Werrell will be the next voice of the NASCAR Euro Series, following fellow Briton Adam Weller, who was the enthusiastic voice of the series from the 2022 to the 2025 seasons.
“I’m delighted to be back commentating for the NASCAR Euro Series and really excited about the season ahead,” said Werrell on his return. “Having covered the series in the past, I’ve always stayed in contact with the championship, so to be asked to return to the live stream commentary box for 2026 is a real honour. It’s the drivers, teams, fans and close competitive racing in the NASCAR Euro Series that makes it one of the best racing series in Europe.”
“We’ve got some great new ideas to build on the solid production values and quality of the TV broadcast over the last few years to keep drivers in the spotlight, fans engaged and deliver real value to sponsors, so I can’t wait for the opening rounds to get underway in Valencia in just a few weeks time!”
Joining Werrell in providing the best moments from the grid and pit lane will be veteran Andre Wiegold. The 2026 season is set to be Wiegold’s tenth season as a grid presenter and pit lane reporter for the NASCAR Euro Series. His anniversary year will therefore be one to follow closely.
“First, I want to extend my sincere thanks to Adam Weller for several incredible years in the booth; it’s been a privilege. Looking ahead, I’m thrilled to reunite with Mark Werrell as I join the NASCAR Euro Series for my tenth season. We’ve elevated our broadcast standards every year, and with the ambitious plans we have in store, this season is set to be another step forward. Drivers, start your engines – let’s get another thrilling season underway!” Wiegold said.
A new partnership with global sports marketing agency ICARUS Sports to expand NASCAR Euro Series’ international broadcast rights distribution further signifies the championship’s commitment to widen its global footprint. With 2.7 million live stream minutes watched and 14.8 million social media impressions in 2025, the NASCAR Euro Series is ready to bring its media product to the next level in 2026 and an expanded list of broadcasting partners is going to be unveiled soon.
The 2026 EuroNASCAR media strategy will continue to feature the popular 26-minute highlight magazine, produced by Benoit Martinez and his team. With two episodes distributed in the week following each event, it will capture the best on-track action and exclusive behind-the-scenes content, serving as a core media product. Furthermore, the championship will place an increased emphasis on social media storytelling to create an even deeper connection for fans and all stakeholders with the series’ main protagonists.
This endeavor would not be feasible without the assistance of Media Manager Gian Luca Guiglia, who is working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that all media partners are able to cover the most compelling moments from the official European NASCAR championship.
“Delivering the NASCAR Euro Series to a global audience is something we take immense pride in,” states Guiglia. “Over the past years, we have worked relentlessly to grow the product, strengthen our media presence and elevate the overall quality of our broadcast. I’m especially proud of everyone who has worked with us along this journey – from our internal team to our partners – because this progress is the result of a true collective effort. With the support of our media partners and the passion of our community, we are ready to take another significant step forward in 2026 and bring our fans closer than ever to the heart of the action.”
Make sure you’re tuned in for the next evolution of NASCAR Euro Series when the new season starts in Valencia on 18-19 April 2026.
