A Caledon farming family has apparently taken matters into their own hands when it comes to people dumping garbage on their property.

An Instagram video from Forest Lawn Farms outlines the steps the farmer took to gather up the garbage and deliver it to a Brampton home, where it is believed to have originated.

The farmer says enough information was left amongst the trash to determine the Brampton address.

“Found this garbage dumped in my field. Nice of her to leave her name and address,” the Instagram message reads as the video shows printed material left amongst the trash.

There is no explanation for how the garbage ended up in the Caledon farm field, or whether the people in Brampton are responsible.

The video then shows the garbage being gathered up by a forklift and loaded onto a truck that then heads to Brampton.

Footage continues with the farmer knocking on the door of the home where he believes the garbage came from. A person at the home appears to acknowledge that one of the items — a stuffed animal — belongs to her.

The farmer then doesn’t waste time before he unloads the garbage onto the driveway of the Brampton home before leaving.

Comments, however, left on the Instagram post seem to support the farmer’s action.

“Not all heroes wear capes. Good for you,” said one commenter.

A comment left by Forest Lawn Farms said, “Doing what every farmer has thought about doing.”
