A North Bay father-and-son team is bringing home national bragging rights after their customized 2011 Corvette Grand Sport won Best in Class, Street Custom, at the National Motorama Custom Car Show in Toronto.
After a standout weekend at Toronto’s International Centre, North Bay builders Glen and Blake Langlois were recognized by show manager Keith Kortun with a Best in Class Street Custom award for their 2011 Corvette Grand Sport.
The father and son competed in the National Motorama Custom Car Show in Toronto.
Keith Kortun, show manager, presented the award. The show ended March 15 but featured 450+ Vehicles, including custom cars, hot rods, race cars, trucks, tuners, and exotics.
Langlois is a member of the North Bay Cruisers.
Every Monday night from 4:30 pm to dusk starting May 11, all the members will meet again at the North Bay Heritage Museum downtown, 100 Ferguson Street. The club will run 19 weeks this season (weather permitted).
An average night has 120 or more cars, music, 50/50 draws run by the North Bay Shriners (all proceeds go towards the Children’s Burn Unit in Montreal), door prizes for members, lots of car talk, and a fantastic Food Truck right on the grounds for snacks.
