After Monday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful (recapped here), Ivy is thinking that she has Dylan in checkmate. But oh no, she’s at best in check. Why’s that? The way out for Dylan is as clear as a freshly washed window!
Ivy’s Threat Is Completely Empty
Electra’s manipulative aunt has sworn that she’ll get Dylan fired from her new job at Forrester Creations if she breathes so much of a word of the conversation she overheard Ivy and Daphne having. And we don’t doubt that she’d try. But here’s the thing: Dylan doesn’t have to run to either Will or Electra with the truth about Ivy’s machinations to set things right.
All Dylan has to do is go to Daphne and explain her predicament. Dylan may not be able to risk losing her job to undo the damage that Ivy has done, but Daphne has no [bleeps] to give. As it is, it’s been utterly mystifying why she hasn’t already blown Ivy out of the water. (More on that here.)

Daphne to the Rescue?
Once Daphne is made aware that Ivy is tangling even more innocents in her web of deceit, she’ll have no choice but to do the honorable thing and rat out the Aussie. Daphne doesn’t have to say that Dylan urged her to come forward, she could just insist that she’s spilling the beans because (duh) it’s the right thing to do.
If Daphne wants to be funny about it, she could even suggest that being honest is the only “proper” option.
Armed with this new intel — and never having been an Ivy fan in the first place — co-CEO Steffy will be only too happy to can her cousin (thereby facilitating Ashleigh Brewer’s maternity leave). Then Will and Electra can decide without subterfuge where they stand, and maybe, just maybe, Dylan and R.J. can explore the chemistry that they shared when they first (literally) bumped into each other.
