WNBA star Arike Ogunbowale has a new milestone to add to her résumé—marriage. The Dallas Wings guard revealed this week that she wed longtime partner and influencer Lala Ronay, sharing photos from the ceremony that quickly gained traction across social media.

According to Outsports, the images show the couple standing on stone steps, both smiling and holding up their left hands to display their wedding rings. Ronay is dressed in a fitted white gown while holding a small bouquet, while Ogunbowale wears a dark, wide-leg suit with sunglasses, leaning into a clean, understated aesthetic.

Ogunbowale captioned the post, “here’s to a lifetime of us,” alongside ring and infinity emojis, confirming the ceremony took place on February 24.

The marriage follows a nearly two-year engagement. Ogunbowale first shared news of the proposal in May 2024, and the couple has since publicly documented parts of their relationship.

Ronay, a Dallas-based content creator, has built a following across YouTube, TikTok, and Threads, where she shares lifestyle content ranging from dance videos to brand collaborations.

She has also regularly appeared courtside at Wings games, offering a visible presence throughout Ogunbowale’s professional seasons.

Ogunbowale, one of the most recognizable names in the WNBA, has long balanced on-court performance with a growing cultural footprint. A four-time All-Star and two-time All-Star Game MVP, she first rose to national prominence at Notre Dame with back-to-back game-winning shots during the 2018 NCAA tournament.

The wedding announcement arrives just weeks after Ogunbowale made headlines for a separate off-court incident in Miami following an Unrivaled championship celebration.

Earlier this month, she was arrested after an alleged altercation with a security staffer at a nightclub and later released on bond. At the time, Unrivaled said it was “aware of an incident involving Arike Ogunbowale” and was “in the process of gathering additional information,” while confirming she was “home safely.”
