Edmonton police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to rob a fast-food restaurant in the Clareview neighbourhood.
EPS says around 9:15 p.m. on Jan. 4, a man reportedly entered the restaurant near 49 Street and 137 Avenue, approached the counter, allegedly brandished a knife, and demanded cash from the register.
Employees were able to flee, and the man unsuccessfully tried to get into the register before leaving.
The incident was captured on security cameras and police have provided images of the man.
He has been described as 5’8” to 5’10” tall with a medium build. At the time, he was wearing black pants, a black and white checkered jacket, a grey hooded sweatshirt and black runners with white and red soles.
