There’s a new cafe in Edmonton, and it’s come all the way from Bonnyville.
Rari-Tea Cafe is the newest cafe that’s made its home in Edmonton, with this being its first location in the city and second location ever! It specializes in matcha and bubble tea beverages, as well as some hot foods and treats like its croffles.
This new location is right behind MacEwan Residences in downtown Edmonton, so anyone who’s in university or stopping by in the area has easy access to the cafe.
Its grand opening was held on March 20, where it gave out free siomai to a select number of first-comers.
In terms of the menu, there’s an extensive range of teas. Honestly, if you want a tea, they most likely have it. From milk teas to smoothies to fruit teas, they simply have it all. Not to mention its matcha, which we’ve only heard great things about.
For food, there’s siomai and BBQ buns available, as well as the ever-so popular croffles. The croffles come in three classic flavours (Nutella, Biscoff, and Maple) for $4.50, while premium croffles, like Banana Nutella, will cost around $8.
No matter what your appetite is craving, there will be something here that’s extremely delicious and mouth-wateringly flavourful.
As for hours, from Monday to Thursday it’s open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays it’s open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m, while closing on Sundays. For those night-owls, you can get one of its drinks pretty late in comparison to the rest of the city.
Looking for a new cafe to check out in Edmonton? We’d recommend stopping by if you’re downtown, because this might just be your new study spot, date night cafe, or something entirely different.
