One position has been heavily dominating the New Orleans Saints‘ pre-draft meetings, and that has been the wide receiver spot. With it being an immense need for the franchise, they will almost certainly look to add one or two this offseason, whether that be through the draft, free agency, or both.

A name that has popped into their list of scheduled meetings within the last few weeks is Clemson Tigers wideout Antonio Williams, who also had many interviews set up with various other teams, showing an increasing interest.

Williams has a lot to like about his game, coming off a highly impressive combine performance, and two back-to-back very solid seasons in terms of his productivity. At the combine, he had a 4.41-second 40-yard dash, 1.55-second 10-yard split, 39.5-inch vertical jump, 10-foot-4 broad jump, 7-second three-cone drill, and 10 reps on the bench press, all of which are strong for his stature and position.

At 5-foot-11 and 187 pounds, he is slightly on the smaller side, but his ability to get vertical and his speed to get over defenses are both positives. 2024 was by far his best season, posting 904 receiving yards on 75 receptions, along with an ACC-leading 11 receiving touchdowns. He also picked up 101 yards and an additional touchdown on the ground.

2025 was difficult due to a hamstring injury for Williams, playing only 10 games as opposed to 14 the prior year. Regardless, he put up only four fewer yards per game on average, with 604 total, 55 receptions, and 4 touchdowns, in addition to 78 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. He is a really fun weapon on offense for Clemson, and now he will have the opportunity to potentially join the Saints and learn to work in Kellen Moore’s offensive scheme.
