It is pre-draft meeting season, with every NFL team going around to various pro days to not only watch prospects test out, but also to meet with them and gauge if they would be a good character fit. The New Orleans Saints have been all over the place, splitting up their staff and seeing just how many players they can get a good understanding of ahead of April’s 2026 NFL Draft.
A name that was recently added to their list of meetings is Cincinnati linebacker Jack Dingle, who ended up picking up the production in 2025 and finding a large role in the team’s defense. It was reported that he would meet with multiple teams, and the Saints were among them, who hosted him for a private lunch.

In 2025, Dingle put up 60 total tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 18 pressures, and only 7 missed tackles on the year. He was used predominantly in a run-defending capacity, with the occasional pass rush rep or coverage rep, but his success came as a gap closer.
This makes him a very fun piece to any defense at the NFL level, as he may not be a three-down linebacker constantly, but having him come in for early downs and clear out the offensive line makes for an intriguing utility piece.
