Edmonton police say one person is facing charges and over $100,000 of drugs has been seized in the Woodvale neighbourhood.

EPS says in January, officers became aware of possible drug trafficking that was taking place out of a home near Woodvale Road and 38 Avenue.

Following an investigation, police executed a search warrant and were able to find and seize 301 grams of fentanyl, 8.5 grams of crack cocaine, 979 grams of methamphetamine, 1.63 litres of GHB, over 200 other assorted pills, including Tylenol 3s, winstrol, primboloan, and clenbuterol, a 9 millimetre handgun, and around $4,600 in cash.

As a result, 46-year-old Mitchele Ernest Zorget has been taken into custody and is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, along with several firearms-related offences.
