Spring Break is just around the corner.  Here’s a look at some of the activities for the kids or the entire family.

Assiniboine Park Zoo, March 28 to April 5

Free admission for children 12 and under
From Tuesday through Saturday, March 31 to April 4, you will also find free family‐friendly arts, crafts, reading, guided activities, and performances.

Children’s Museum, March 28 to April 5


From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p..m. daily throughout Spring Break, kids can participate in exciting crafts and hands-on activities with special guests and watch the seeds of their creativity grow.
Everything from LEGO brick stamp art to baking soda and vinegar art, there is a fun activity for everyone in the family.

City of Winnipeg indoor pools, March 9 to April 4


The City of Winnipeg has free and cheap swim times at pools across the city, from now to April 5, 2026.

Programming for all ages
From a community snowhoe experience to a bonfire and bannock roast, there is something for everyone.

Garden City Shopping Centre, March 30 to April 3


Free kid’s activities all week long
From an indoor petting zoo and magic show to a reptile meet and greet and carnival games. There is something for everyone.

Glenwood Community Centre, March 28 and 29


From a free indoor movie afternoon to learning how to play baseball and skate, Glenwood community centre has it all. 

Living Prairie Museum, March 28 to April 4


Drop in to visit the hands-on displays and plant your own prairie flower to take home! Admission is free.
Can’t wait to get outside? You can also take a walk on the Living Prairie Museum trails and visit the Nature Playground, which are open all day, every day of the year.

Manitoba Museum, March 28 to April 5


Programming for all ages from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Journey through time and across Manitoba in the Museum Galleries. Explore a trail of fascinating finds in the Galleries you might not otherwise see and investigate a variety of hands-on, pop-up activities happening all week.

The Leaf, March 28 to April 5


Programming for all ages
Take a tropical trip to the leaf this spring break and enjoy gardener chats, a junior chefs acadamy workshop and story time.

Robert A. Steen Community Centre, March 27 to April 2


Enjoy a free movie night with the family on March 27. The film being shown is Zootopia 2. It will start at 6 p.m.
There will also be an open gym Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
