Toronto’s world-famous ballpark hotel overlooking the Rogers Centre field just got a new addition, right on time for the Toronto Blue Jays’ highly anticipated home opener.

The Toronto Marriott City Centre, still the only hotel in North America located inside a Major League Baseball (MLB) stadium, has unveiled a new themed suite, the Rawlings Room, in collaboration with Rawlings, the major manufacturer of baseball and softball equipment and MLB’s official equipment supplier.

This room now adds to the hotel’s lineup of already popular field-facing accommodations that fans have come to love.

The hotel’s Field View Rooms offer direct views into Rogers Centre, which now boasts new food and stadium upgrades ahead of the home opener, and during peak baseball moments — like last year’s World Series run — they reportedly book up quickly. The appeal is pretty obvious: you can watch the game from your window instead of from a tiny seat in the crowd.

The Rawlings Room builds on that idea, but adds a more immersive baseball-themed twist.

The suite leans fully into the baseball theme starting from the moment you walk through the door. Guests enter through a hallway lined with bats — not just on the walls, but even overhead — before stepping into what the hotel describes as “a clubhouse-inspired bedroom where every detail celebrates baseball.” Think: locker-style closets stocked with gear, plus dugout-style furniture that makes the whole space feel closer to a team lounge than a typical hotel room.

Upstairs, the split-level layout opens to a viewing area overlooking the field, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look directly into the stadium and can be opened during games, so you can still get all the crowd vibes from the stands right into the room. A standout feature is a large installation made entirely of baseballs spelling out “1977,” a fun nod to the Blue Jays’ inaugural season.

The rest of the suite continues the theme, with details like glove-inspired seating, baseball card-style mirrors, and scoreboard-like screens. Even the washroom gets in on it, with design elements referencing early glove designs.

For now, the suite is being rolled out through a limited upgrade program tied to existing bookings, with plans for wider availability later on. Guests must book a “Larger Guest Room, Baseball Stadium View, 1 King” between Mar. 28 and Apr. 30, and then submit a request through the hotel’s website for a chance to be upgraded.

I think it’s safe to assume that this one may just be the ultimate bucket-list experience for all the Toronto Blue Jays fans in the city.

The Toronto Marriott City Centre is located at 1 Blue Jays Way.
