Two individuals have been charged after a busy Osborne Village street was closed for a period of time on Wednesday. 

On March 25, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit executed a warrant in the Roslyn neighbourhood.

During the search, officers found a firearm, illicit drugs, ammunition and cash. Four individuals were arrested. 

The Guns and Gangs Unit opened an investigation regarding drug trafficking at a residence in the 100 block of Roslyn Road in March 2026.

Along with the Tactical Support Team (TST), West and North District Community Support Units, officers executed two search warrants on the Roslyn Road residence as well as a 2022 Mitsubishi RVR. While the warrants were being executed, less-lethal chemical deployment was employed and officers seized the following items:

367 grams Cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $30,000)
396 grams Fentanyl (Estimated Street Value = $60,000)

A 37-year-old man has been charged with the following:


Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine x 2
Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 x 2
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Warrant – Fail to Attend Court
Warrant – Fail to Comply with Probation Order

A 36-year-old woman has been charged with the following:


Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Both were detained in custody.

Two other individuals were released with no charges.
