Weezer has announced a new North American tour titled The Gathering and will kick-off the Canadian dates in Vancouver.
With its 2014 single Go Away enjoying a viral revival across multiple platforms, the band has a new album set for release on April 1. No joke here, the new record has already provided the latest single titled Shine Again.
Weezer: The Gathering is a 32-city arena run for the ’90s veterans. The new tour follows on the Return to the Blue Planet Tour in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Weezer (The Blue Album). Weezer also co-headlined the Hella Mega Tour with fellow legacy artists Green Day and Fall Out Boy.
To preview the new tour, Weezer held special events in the Los Angeles area including a trivia night at Barney’s Beanery and will play at a March 30 pickleball tournament that is certain to light up TikTok and YouTube with new content.
