Durham Region is asking you to conserve water if you live in Blackstock.

Construction at the Blackstock municipal well site is ongoing as they upgrade the system.

They are asking businesses and residents to conserve water from March 27 to April 27 though unfavourable weather conditions may impact construction.

Conserving water will help maintain adequate water levels to deal with emergencies such as fire prevention.

All municipal water supply customers in Blackstock are asked to exercise water conservation and stop all non-essential outdoor water use.

Special efforts are being made to maintain normal water service during this period.
