A 50-year-old woman has died after being hit by a semi-truck Saturday afternoon.
Police say the collision happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Dufferin Avenue and Main Street.
Emergency crews found the woman suffering from serious injuries. She was taken to hospital in critical condition, where she later died.
Main Street was closed for several hours while police investigated.
The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene and was cooperative with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
