Nurmagomedov will never agree about women in MMA. 

Nurmagomedov has always been vocal about the fact that he is not a
fan of women fighting in MMA. The
UFC Hall of Famer recently reiterated his sentiments, even
explicitly calling women weaker than men. Nurmagomedov believes
both genders have designated roles in society, and men take on the
bigger responsibilities. While duties for men and women are
overlapping with time, “The Eagle” prefers both genders to stick to
their conventional duties.

“Every person in life has a mission,” Nurmagomedov said at a
recent press conference. “For a man,
it’s to raise children, take care of the family, take care of loved
ones, neighbors, relatives. There are very few women who take on
big responsibilities; it’s very hard for them. It’s not without
reason. Even God created it that way: a woman is weaker, a man is
stronger. People want to change all this and mix it. I like it when
a man does manly things and a woman does womanly things.”A Warrior Tradition

Shevchenko has previously slammed Nurmagomedov for similar comments
on women. The UFC women’s flyweight champion didn’t miss the chance
to remind Nurmagomedov of women’s contributions this time as well.
Shevchenko believes there is no distinction between genders when it
comes to martial arts. “Bullet” says that upbringing plays a
pivotal role, where even a man can be raised to be incapable.

“Women are weak?! Tell that to my sister-an airline captain,”
Shevchenko wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Or tell it to the
“Night Witches” the all-female bomber regiment of World War II, who
dropped bombs under the cover of darkness with their engines off,
then landed in pitch blackness without landing lights. For this,
they earned a reputation for being elusive and deadly. Go ahead,
tell them who is stronger. It all depends entirely on one’s
upbringing. you can just as easily raise a man to be a helpless
milksop who is incapable of doing anything. Martial arts represent
a warrior tradition where there is no distinction between man and
woman. There is only the Art itself. That is precisely why people
train: to become more graceful, stronger, and wiser-and to ensure
that no one ever gets the chance to punch them in the
face.”
