BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Binghamton men’s tennis (7-10, 3-1 NEC) took its first Northeast Conference loss of the seasons after dropping to LIU (6-4, 4-1 NEC) 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Ronin Lotlikar and Harry Liao earned a dominant 6-1 victory as Binghamton’s top doubles pairing on Sunday, but LIU won matches two and three to earn the point in doubles play.
Lotlikar went on to earn a singles victory in the number one singles game, winning 6-3, 6-2 against LIU’s Bassil Touban.
Andre Ajed won his second singles match of the weekend, winning 7-5, 6-3 in the number four singles game.
Binghamton returns to play against NEC opponent Mercyhurst on Thursday for a 11 a.m. serve time.
