Kid Rock‘s latest public display of patriotism has drawn a mixed response. The outspoken right-wing musician/entrepreneur had an apparent military flyover of what appears to be two Boeing AH-64 Apache attack helicopters hovering over his Nashville, TN mansion.
That sprawling residence was custom built to mirror various aspects of The White House. Rock has referred to his home as ‘The Southern White House’, complete with signage in the below clip identifying it as such. Rock‘s fans have cheered on the display of military might. However, as the Boeing AH-64 Apache remains a closely regulated aircraft by the U.S. military , his critics have decried the apparent usage of U.S. taxpayer money seemingly spent to stage the clip.
Rock for his part took the opportunity to caption the video with a shot at one of his longtime detractors, Californian Governor Gavin Newsom. Rock said alongside the clip:
“This is a level of respect that shit for brains Governor of California will never know. God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her.”
