The discovery of a suspicious object prompted Calgary police to close a section of Nose Creek Park on Sunday afternoon.
A person walking their dog in the area discovered a suspicious object near a pathway around 2:30 p.m. before contacting police.
Officers closed off the area around the object and are asking all park users to avoid the area until the object is secured.
The affected area is near the intersection of Beddington Trail N.E. and Harvest Hills Boulevard N.E., near the dog park parking lot.
The CPS TAC team is on scene to identify the object.
