The victim of a serious assault that occurred earlier this week in the southeast community of Ogden has succumbed to his injuries.

At approximately 9 p.m., on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, police were called for reports of a physical altercation occurring in a home in the 2300 block of Crestwood Road S.E.

Upon arrival, a man in his 20s was located suffering from life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital where he later died.

The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

An autopsy will be completed Tuesday, March 31, 2026, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Investigators are working to locate the suspects; however this is believed to be a domestic-related incident and there is no threat to public safety.
