Alberta RCMP says two people are in custody after allegedly stealing a vehicle late last week.
Mounties from Peace River responded to a report of a stolen vehicle just before 9 p.m. on March 26. The vehicle was reportedly located within 15 minutes at Wilderness Park.
Two people — 42-year-old Kenneth Noskiye and 35-year-old Cheyenne Furgeson — have since been charged with possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000, driving while prohibited, and theft under $5,000.
Noskiye has also been charged with two counts of failing to comply with a court order.
Both are expected to appear in court on March 30.
Police note the vehicle has been returned to its owner.
