A long-standing Chinese BBQ restaurant in Calgary has finally closed its doors.
Something More has been a staple in the city’s Chinatown neighbourhood for more than three decades, as its last remaining BBQ spot. However, the restaurant closed its doors for the final time on Sunday, March 29.
Signage displayed outside of the restaurant, which was located at 114 3rd Ave. SW revealed that it would be closing to allow its owners to retire.

The spot was known and loved for its BBQ pork and sticky rice, as well as a host of other dishes.

While we don’t know what is next for the iconic space, Something More will be greatly missed by Calgarians.
