One motorist dead after collision north of Ottawa, Ontario

Highway 17 through Pembroke north of Ottawa was shut down for the entire afternoon after a two-vehicle collision that left one motorist dead.

Paul Martin Drive was fully closed following the tragic accident, which happened just before noon, and remained closed until just after 7 p.m.

No other details have been released by the OPP thanked the public for their “understanding and cooperation.”
