It’s been nearly two years since David Robson was found dead at an intersection north of Brampton, and investigators are asking anyone with leads to come forward.
The OPP says the 65-year-old man was found dead near the intersection of Chinguacousy Road and King Street on April 1, 2024. The intersection is in a secluded rural area about six kilometres northwest of the Brampton border.
Robson was from Melancthon, approximately 70 kilometres north of Brampton, and had been reported missing over a week earlier on March 21.
A post-mortem exam determined Robson was the victim of a homicide. His vehicle was never recovered, and is described as a 2017 black Kia Sportage with Ontario licence plate DAMZ 252.
Now, nearly two years since he was found dead, police are continuing the search for Robson’s killer with a billboard in Orangeville installed on County Road 9 facing southwest at County Road 11.
“Who murdered David Robson?” the billboard reads, and asks anyone with information about the homicide or Robson’s vehicle to come forward.
“We hope the billboard prompts anyone passing through the area to recall some information about David Robson or the location of his vehicle,” OPP Det. Insp. Mark Allison said in a release. “We want to understand what happened to David and provide the answers his loved ones have been waiting for over the past two years.”
