Winnipeg Transit is adding rides and post-midnight service to routes across the city.
Starting April 12, in line with Transit’s spring schedule, 10 bus routes will operate past midnight:
D10: Panet – Adsum
D14: Dugald – Broadway
D16: Academy – Notre Dame
D17: Talbot – Selkirk
28: Arlington – Stafford
38: Mountain – Munroe
43: Watt – Logan
70: Roblin
74: Kenaston – Keewatin
680: River Heights – Cambridge
More trips will be added to the following routes:
The F5 line, which runs on Notre Dame Avenue and McPhillips Street.
The F8 line, along Pembina Highway and Henderson Highway.
Buses will be added on route 74 between CF Polo Park and Old Commonwealth Path.
Route 557, which serves South Osborne, Southdale, Island Lakes, and Sage Creek.
On Route 676 from St. Vital Centre to Bridgwater Centre, and from St. Vital Centre to Creek Bend Road.
There will also be fewer FX3 Regent – Grant buses east of Kildonan Place and FX4 Gateway – Portage buses north of McLeod Avenue, due to lower-than-expected ridership, the City of Winnipeg said Tuesday.
“These changes have been guided by the great feedback we continue to receive from Winnipeggers,” the city’s news release said.
