GREENVILLE, S.C. – Behind four singles wins, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (9-5) rallied past the Furman Paladins (6-12), 4-2, on the road on Tuesday afternoon.

DOUBLES
Furman claimed the doubles point after wins on courts two and one. Presbyterian’s Thomas Anderson and Eduardo Valentin recorded a 7-5 win at number two doubles.

SINGLES
Presbyterian won four singles matches to storm back for the road win. At number one singles, Presbyterian’s Matija Samardzic tied the match at one with a 6-1, 6-4 victory for his 10th win of the season. Presbyterian’s David Mamalat gave the Blue Hose a 2-1 lead with a 6-1, 6-4 win at number two singles, which was his ninth win of the season. Valentin recorded a 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 victory at number six singles for his seventh win of the season. Furman cut Presbyterian’s lead to 3-2 with a win at number four singles. Presbyterian’s Daksh Prasad clinched the win for the Blue Hose with a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory on court three, which was his ninth win of the season. Â
