Provincial adviser for Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside admits he underestimated task

Former Vancouver mayor and B.C. chief coroner Larry Campbell, who was appointed by the province to serve as an adviser and oversee the government’s approach to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, has had his contract extended by six months. He told CBC’s On The Coast that he initially underestimated how complex his task would be, and he wants to ensure the money spent in the neighbourhood is going where it’s needed.
