Myles Winch Ultimate Frisbee Invitational set for April 8 in South Surrey

It’s time for some ultimate frisbee.
Semiahmoo Secondary is set to host their eighth annual Myles Winch Ultimate Frisbee Invitational in honour of the coach who sadly, died in 2016 after teaching for 40 years in schools throughout Surrey.
The South Surrey school will host 16 ultimate teams from across the region — eight of which are provincially ranked — in the annual tournament, to be held at South Surrey Athletic Park on Wednesday, April 8 (fields 1, 2, 3 and 8).
The event will feature some high fire-power including last years 3A Provincial Champions, the Templeton Titans from Vancouver.
Semiahmoo will be vying to use this kick-off tournament to begin their quest to the provincials this year, Semiahmoo teacher Tony Chio noted in an email.
