Professional Fighters League (PFL) was back in Africa earlier today (Sat., Aug. 19, 2025) with the continuation of its PFL Africa tournament in Johannesburg. And while the card may not have had the biggest names to attract the casuals (this one included), the event had several great finishes.
But perhaps there wasn’t one better than Dwight Joseph’s electrifying, buzzer-beating walk off finish of Wilker Nsamo. In the closing seconds of round two, Joseph and Nsamo got into a fiery exchange once the 10-second warning was announced. For his part, Joseph started throwing “spinning sh*t,” which prompted Nsamo to charge in.
That proved to be a huge mistake.
In the blink of an eye, Joseph timed Nsamo’s somewhat lackadaisical takedown attempt and mustered up everything he had to elevate himself to deliver a flying knee from hell, connecting right on his opponent’s chin, sending him crashing to the canvas stiff as a board.
Check out the amazing finish in the embedded video play above.
With the win, Joseph — who trains out of Team Alpha Male — moves on to the next round and improves his overall mixed martial arts (MMA) record to 15-2, while Nsamo suffers the first-ever defeat of his career in devastating, highlight-reel fashion that will be on loop for days to come.
