Easter arrives this weekend, meaning many places and services in Mississauga will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Good Friday falls on April 3, while Easter Sunday follows two days later on April 5.
Here’s what’s open and closed this Friday and Sunday in Mississauga:
Closed:
Square One Shopping Centre (closed Friday and Sunday)
Costco (closed Friday and Sunday)
Walmart Supercentre at Square One
Erin Mills Town Centre
Dixie Outlet Mall
Heartland Town Centre and other power centres are closed, but individual restaurants might still be open
Some major grocery stores will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday
Whole Foods Square One will be closed on Easter Sunday, but open on Good Friday (see below)
Government offices
City Hall and Region of Peel offices (some Region of Peel offices may also be closed on Monday)

The Beer Store

No change to curbside waste collection schedule due to Good Friday
Shopping Malls that are open on Easter Sunday:
Toronto Premium Outlets will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Good Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Easter Sunday
Eaton Centre will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Good Friday and 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Easter Sunday
Pacific Mall will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Good Friday and Easter Sunday
Transit
MiWay will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule on Good Friday and Easter Sunday (Note: some routes might not operate at all on those two days. Check beforehand.)
GO Transit will run on a Saturday schedule on Good Friday
Region of Peel TransHelp: all trips for Good Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, must be booked by 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 either online or by calling 905-791-1015. TransHelp will operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but its offices will be closed
