Doncic will be out indefinitely and his status for the playoffs is uncertain, adds Charania.

The 27-year-old forward exited Thursday’s 139-96 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder with the injury.

He appeared to tweak his hamstring in the first half, before hurting it again in the third quarter. He limped off gingerly to the dressing room and did not return.

In 64 games played for the Lakers this season, Doncic averaged 33.5 points per game to go along with 8.3 assists and 7.7 rebounds.

Los Angeles (50-27) is third in the Western Conference with five games remaining in the regular season.

More to come.
