Maye is joined by Titans quarterback Cam Ward as the two faces of the upcoming pack release. The 2025 Chrome Football set is slated to be released on April 15. This is the first time that Topps has produced licensed NFL trading cards since 2016. The NFL finalized a deal with Fanatics, Topps’ parent company, to be its exclusive trading card licensee on Thursday.
Maye had an outstanding season in 2025. He finished as the AP NFL MVP runner-up to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford last season. Maye led the Patriots to the Super Bowl in 2026. He also led the NFL in completion percentage in 2025 at 72 percent.
The Chrome Football set will include rookie and popular veteran players. Collectors will be privileged to obtain autographs from players such as Buffalo Bills former MVP Josh Allen, 2025 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Tetairoa McMillan, and New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart.
The set also includes NFL Honors Gold Shield, recognizing the league’s award winners from last year.
